This page is for the Manhunt app (formerly Assassin), listed on Google Play as Manhunt Game: Assassin.WTF. Your phone may still show the app as Assassin.
In the app
- Open Manhunt and tap your avatar to open Profile.
- Scroll down and tap Delete account.
- Press and hold Hold to delete until the bar fills. You're signed out and your account is gone.
Deleting the app from your phone doesn't delete your account. Use the steps above or email us.
What gets deleted
- Your display name and profile photo.
- If you used Sign in with Apple (iPhone): we revoke it with Apple and delete the email Apple shared.
- Your devices and their notification tokens. You're signed out on every phone, and the app's saved sign-in is wiped from your phone.
- Your blocks: players you blocked, and blocks others made of you.
- If you're in a game, you leave it. A target who leaves counts as tagged.
What stays, and for how long
- Other players' results from games you played keep the numbers (who tagged whom, awards) and show you as "Deleted player", with no name or photo. Your random account ID stays with those results.
- The app-specific device ID from your past sign-ins, kept to enforce bans.
- Location, chat and replays from recent games are deleted on their normal schedule, 7 days after each game.
- Reports, and the minimal record needed to enforce a ban, are kept as long as they're needed to keep players safe.
- On Android, data that Google's map and QR code scanner components collected is kept by Google under its own policies.
