Hunters
Pings
Every so often, the targets flash onto the hunters’ map, then fade. Targets know the moment they’ve been pinged. Move the second it hits.
One hunter. Everyone else is a target. Every target who gets tagged turns into a hunter, until the clock runs out or nobody’s left. Your neighborhood is the board.Every tag turns a target into a hunter.
Manhunt with a twist that snowballs: the hunters’ side grows with every tag, so every game builds to a frantic finish.
The roulette picks one random hunter. Everyone else is a target and gets a head start to scatter.
Catch someone, touch them, tap TAG. They confirm on their phone and it counts. No touch, no tag.
The tagged target turns and hunts for the other side. Every tag makes the pack bigger.
Targets win if even one survives the clock. Hunters win if they tag every last one.
Everything a game of manhunt argues about, the app settles: where people were, who got tagged, and who’s still out there.
Hunters
Every so often, the targets flash onto the hunters’ map, then fade. Targets know the moment they’ve been pinged. Move the second it hits.
Targets
Targets feel hunters before they see them. Your phone’s heartbeat speeds up as the nearest one closes in. No distance, no direction. Just run.
Crates & shop
Crates drop across the zone all game. Walk to one to crack it open for coins or an item, then spend in the shop mid‑game.
Finale
Late in the game the zone closes in, with a warning before each step. Get caught outside it and you’re out in plain sight.
After the game
After the game, watch every path play back on the map with each tag and crate on the timeline. Settle the arguments. Relive the escape.

Hunters earn coins for every tag. Targets earn them just by staying free. Crack crates for coins or an item, chase the golden crate at the end, and spend it all in the shop. Coins reset every game.

Manhunt (Manhunt.WTF, formerly Assassin) is a free app for playing real-life manhunt with friends on iPhone and Android. One random player starts as the hunter and everyone else is a target. Every target who gets tagged turns into a hunter, so the hunt grows until the clock runs out or nobody is left. It’s infection tag, played across a park, a campus or a few blocks.
Yes. Manhunt is free to download and play, with no ads, subscriptions or in-app purchases. Coins and items are earned during a game and reset when it ends, so there’s nothing to buy.
Only with the players in your game, and only while you’re in a lobby or a game. Hunters see targets when a ping goes out, teammates see each other, and some items, host settings and leaving the zone reveal more. After the game, players can watch a replay of everyone’s paths. Location is deleted 7 days after the game ends, and it’s never sold or used for ads.
Manhunt is for players 13 and older. Players under 18 need a parent or guardian to agree to the terms with them, and we recommend younger teens play in daylight, with friends they know, in a zone an adult has checked.
